AudreyWritten forms
Written forms
Numbers, amounts, times and dates, written the way people write them.
What it does
With format on, which is the default, English text is written the way people write it: phone numbers
such as 415-555-0134, amounts such as $4,200, times such as 3:30 p.m., dates such as March 7th, 2000, addresses such
as Unit 2B, and email addresses such as john@gmail.com.
Files
Send format in the query string or as a form field. The response says what was applied in
formatted.
curl "https://api.p99lab.com/v1/transcribe?format=false" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $P99LAB_API_KEY" \
--data-binary @call.wav

Streams
Set format in the configuration message. Written forms apply to finals; partials stay plain words, so
they can change smoothly while someone speaks.
{"language": "en", "sample_rate": 16000, "format": false}
Values
false, 0, no, off and raw turn written forms off.
Leaving the field out, or any other value, keeps them on.
